The Terminator series had the best sequels. All 3 were good.
The Matrix series had the worst, in comparison with the first.
Star Wars had both, where the earlier sequels were good,
but the rest got increasingly contrived and dismal.
The Alien series was pretty good,
and Spiderman was good.
The Batman series got better as it went.

The best sequel was Spiderman 2. I actually liked it better than the original. The worst were the Harry Potter sequels. I found none of them better than the original, and, in fact, a lot worse.

The sequel to Saw was good, the worst I would have to say was Terminator 3.

Best sequel is a toss-up between Godfather II and The Two Towers
Worst is Stayin' Alive (or Saturday Night Fever II)

I liked Ocean's Twelve so I'll give that a vote for best. Worst is parts two and three of The Matrix.

I absolutely hate hate hate the Son of the Mask. That's the most gawdawful movie I have ever seen in my entire life.
I like the second Back to the Future movie. It's just so twisted and interesting.
