What are some good movies about dance? ((especially ballet/pointe)) or flexibility such as contortion or gymnastics?

"White Nights". Mikhail Baryshnikov (ballet) and Gregory Hines (tap) were fantastic!!!
"Mad Hot Ballroom" is a great movie that is a documentary about some elementary schools in NYC starting a ballroom dance program.
"Dance With Me" is another great movie. Chayanne and Vanessa Williams dance Latin dance.
"Dirty Dancing" is a movie that features the grind and ballroom/Latin dance moves.
I agree with another person who posted--movies with Fred Astaire or Gene Kelly are excellent.

For Broadway: Cabaret, All that Jazz, Chicago, Fosse, Chorus Line
Hip-Hop: Save the last dance, step up, take the lead (ballroom for this one also)
Ballet: The red shows, centerstage, save the last dance
( Try looking for Fed Astaire and Gene Kelly movies)

Step up!!!!! that's a tremendous dance movie, they had some somewhat spectacular choreography. As for the widespread music... extremely no longer uncomplicated, somewhat, the two "Petey Pablo - show me tha money", or "Yung Joc ft 3LW instrumental"... that replaced into enormously dang cool... (from Step up) From 'Honey' i like "Yolanda Adams - i've got faith"...
