Does this mean what I think it means??/?
In the song Allissa Lies By: Jason Michael Carroll It says
"When we got to school on Monday I heard the news, My little girl asked me why everybody looked to sad. A lump in my throught grew bigger with every question that she asked, Until I felt a tear run down my face and I told her that allissa wouldn't be at school today. In the part where it said
"Allissa Lies with Jesus, because there's nothin anyone can do."
Does that mean that Allissa died. That is what I think but my sister disagrees.
Additional Details
How do you know how she died. I heard she was abused by her parents but how do you know???

I see no other explanation, the song is pretty straightforward- she lied to the teachers and the class , covering up her bruises, now she wont be at school to lie to them anymore , she lies with Jesus because no one could help her -
I dont see any hidden meanings or other explanation here-

yes, she died that is exactly what it means.he's crying, girl is abused and not at school, now she lies with Jesus...that's about as straight forward as saying.."Allissa died due to abuse"

she did die and it was because of her parents abusing her. Listen to the song very carefully and you'll get it.
