Why are men treated as nothing more than sperm donors?

I hear so many divorced women and the parents of the divorcee refering to the man or ex-husband as just a sperm donor when talking about the children from the marriage.

I'm a marriage counselor, and the "Men are just sperm donors" phrase is common among the women who have come to counseling. It pisses me off everytime i hear it. It makes me want to back hand them right across the mouth because it is an afront to every man on the planet when they say such things.

Usually women who mouth that phrase are really cold hearted. self-centered, bitter, evil women. Who blame their husbands, ex's, boy friends, fathers for all there problems in life. Never once considering that their own thought processes and attitude is to blame.

The parents and friends who join in this have character flaws, or may just be going along with the person telling her what she really wants to hear.

Men are people too, they have good qualities but you'll rarely hear it from a woman who repeats the sperm donor phrase.

I've yet to figure out just exactly why these women think men are just sperm donors.

My personal opinion is simply that women, have a deep seated evilness within themselves that often comes to light everytime they open their mouth and speak negatively about any man.

It's this negative thought process that spurns the countless numbers of domestic violence cases in the world today.

I thought sperm donors were people that donated sperm so someone else could have a kid and then they had nothing to do with that baby.

Women like that have no ones best intentions except their own. I know what you mean though. Today it seems that feminism is pushing women to beleive that a man is useless and not need to raise children. Women who promote this idea and the women who fall for it are fools and cowards. I read in a magazine recently that N.O.W. is promoting single motherhood as the new american family. It makes me want to puke............hhhhhhhhhuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrlllll!!!!!!

i would think that it is because there are so many men that act like sperm donors...

if thats how a man is acting, then so be it. as for the marriage counselor, im sure he sees it all, but wow!

because alot of men just act that way

but then again when you look at society over such a long time, thats all that men have been relegated to, men have always been replaceable, it has always been easy to replace a man, sever his conection to his children and not think twice about it, if you can be replaced so easily you start thinking in different terms and you start acting like thats all you are worth
