I have been having pain off and on in my lower left side stomach area and was wondering what others have done to help this pain. They are telling me its got to be the baby and my growing uterus causing this pain.

this pain is from the baby growing and stretching out your stomach, the only thing that helped me to rid of this pain was to lay on one of my sides, i cant remember if it was the side that didnt hurt or if it was the side that did hurt, its been a little while since i was preggo, or laying in a really warm bath is what helped the most good luck and congrats

Both of you relax as long as there is no blood or swelling you are fine. If you feel like you are swelling quick have dark urine or really bad heart burn then relax if you get any of the other symptom's then call the Dr. Also at 281/2 weeks you are doing good. The baby is about 2 pounds and happy. I have a 7 year old that was born at 25 weeks. He's normal and has no residual effects. He actually scored higher than most of his class last year. So no worries.

the baby could be pushing on a muscle or a nerve causing the pain. try lying on your right side and rub the left, vise versa. hope this works.

You may wanna buy a pre-pregnancy sling. It helps support your tummy as it is growing. I would have to agree with ppl saying its the uterus expanding.

the baby is probably pushing on you, they tend to do that more when they run out of room to move around in there.
