It was a trying year for us. Our son 11 had cancer and it turned our world topsy turvy. We got a lot of support and made so many wonderful friends and for now (and forever more) I hope my son is cancer free...I am hoping for a much better 2007 that is for sure...hoping that nothing like has to every happen to another child, but unfortunately that will not be true.

I saw this feed on someone's page...and it caught my attention right away when I read about your son with cancer. I'm sorry to hear that, I really hope he fights and beats this terrible disease. My 4 year old son was diagnosed with cancer 6 years ago. Unfortunately, he did not make it because the cancer had spread so rapidly in his tiny body in such a short amount of time. I miss him every day since he's been gone. I know what you must be going thru....I hope 2007 is a better year for you and your family - as for me, it was another year without him, they say time eases the pain of losing a loved one, but I find it doesn't. I'm hoping 2007 will be better for me. Thank you for taking the time to read this....I wish you and your family the best of luck in everything you do and want to accomplish. 2006...it was a good, but long year with some minor challenges. I learned a lot about myself.
Im not so excited about 2007 because I'll just be working and saving. Im more excited about 2008.

Good riddance, I say. The last year (and the 4 years before) have been so depressing. I really hope things change for the better next year.

Out with the old and in with the new I say, 2006 was not especially good to this one, but I'm looking forward to the year to come cause, after all, it couldn't get any worse...

Every year has its bad times as well as good times, however every one definitely has enjoyed the good times and every on should learn from the bad times for future to be better.
