What color is the smell of transmission fluid when it goes bad?

That's not a transmission issue you're talking about. If seems as if the engine itself is becoming less effective. Proper maintenance is essential. If you're serious about it not reaching 60 mph in 30 secs, you need to take that to the garage and have it checked out. A tranny problem would be like everytime you shift, the car jerks.
