I am from the USA and I like the way the government was set up to be but the way it turned out stinks, the government has way too much power over education and everything. The "No Child Left Behind Act" destroys education and the patriot act takes away the Bill of Rights so basically the government has taken away the people's rights through the Patriot Act. So no I do not like the way the government is now.

the Netherlands government is social democratic ,the closest thing to real democracy on the planet ,South Africa ,under Mandela used it as a political model.
the USA is getting scary ,Christian democratic, that has began to mean pure fascism.including nationwide propaganda and government control over everything, and most of the country seems to be brainwashed

I'm an American
This Government is much worse that the Government of my Original Homeland (India)
God, I wish I could go back (and retract my allegiance to this star-spangled banner, and the rabid madmen who are holding it aloft)
btw, the rest of the world doesn't rate our government as any good either. so what if we in this land of the free, the home of the brave, and blind ourselves to our failings....
back home, its called the frog in the well syndrome!!!

I'm American, and yes, I usually like our government. As far as politicians go...that's another story.

USA
Our government is filled with idiots, incompetents, liars and corruption. But I think we solved most of that problem on Nov. 7th.
