No, it doesn't hurt.

However, you should speak to either your mom or your doctor about proper useage of the tampon. This is because if the tampon is incorrectly used, it is possible to cause Toxic Shock Syndrome. It is a rare, but life-threatening bacterial infection.

No hon, it really doesn't hurt. It can be really scary at first but it really is the best solution. Pads are not that good, because most of the time there is an odor that comes along with using a pad.

As long as you put it in properly and you're using the right absorbancy, you can't even feel them. When you put it in, make sure to angle it towards your back, and use the lowest absorbancy you need (if it hurts coming out, you need something lower). Just change it every few hours, and you'll be fine.

No, if it does hurt, take it out and try again with a fresh one. It's not your only option if you're still uncomfortable with it, either. I don't think there's anything wrong with wearing a pad and changing it often.

It is uncomfortable the first few times but you get used to it, try the slender ones, they are made for teens and for your lighter days.

Its not going to be very comfortable the first couple times that you use them, but it will get better. Good luck and hang in there.

It won't hurt if you put it in correctly, but if you don't it certainly can be very uncomfortable.
