Im 26 weeks pregnant now and my pregnancy has always been stressful from being sick all the time and not having the father there for me and all that wonderful kind of stuff. I have gained 7lbs throughout my pregnant, but it says i should be gaining a pound every week.
--Well i haven't gained any weight in about a month and lately i have not had much of an appetite. I am lucky to eat a whole 2 meals a day.
--I have also been very tired and in a lot of pain, especially at night. I can never fall asleep though even when i am exhaused! I dont know why.? I always end up feeling really sick with pains always on my right lower side making it hard to walk, or lay down. I am very un-comftorable.
**Can anyone explain whats going on with me and whats up?

First of all, you need to try to relax. Dont worry about things you can not control. ( I know it is easier said then done sometimes) If you have gained 7 lbs you are at least gaining. Not loosing.
You really need to talk to your doc about not wanting to eat and not sleeping. It sounds like you are going through a stressful time at this point in your pregnancy. Try taking a warm bath at night before you go to bed. Eat crackers before you get out of bed in the mornings.
During pregnancy, weight gain is very important. A pregnant female should gain 20-25 lbs on the average. Some gain more, some gain less.
The pains that you are talking about sound like ligament pains. Your Broad ligament is stretching in your pelvis. The most common cause of this pain in pregnant women this far into pregnancy is dehydration. You should drink plenty of fluids, preferrably water. If you rehydrate yourself, this pain should go away. Keep a diary of how much food and water you consume each day. If you notice that you have not consumed at least 6 to 8, 8oz glasses, then add more to your next day. Hopefully that pain you are talking about will disappear.
If it becomes worse or bothersome, please contact your OB/GYN to be evaulated. You should also talk to your OB/GYN about these issues in your pregnancy. They may be able to prescribe somthing for you to sleep at night.
Another Idea, is to drink a ensure drinks. They are some what expensive, but they are loaded with calories and vitamins. Which are very important in pregnant women.
Just remember you have a baby that needs to be nourished growing inside of you. You need to reserve your strength for childbirth and for the first few months of motherhood. Your baby needs the best you that you can be. It needs to get off to a very healthy start.
Get plenty of rest, water and less stress. Millions of women raise healthy successful children with or without a man in their lives.
Good luck to you!!

You should definitely talk to your doctor or midwife. If you don't have a midwife, see if you can find one, because she will probably have some remedies to suggest to you for keeping nausea at bay and helping with the other symptoms that a doc won't suggest. Remember, when you have a NORMAL pregnancy, it's not a "disease" and usually doesn't have to be treated like one, so if your doc tells you you're healthy, you might as well focus your efforts on staying healthy. Try not to worry!
