I took the second one at 12 days late. I feel very swollen in my lower stomach and nipples are very sore which comes and goes with intensity. I called my doctor and she said that I need to wait until I have missed two periods before they would give me a blood test. My husband and I have been off BC since July and are TTC. Does anyone have advice for me... Oh yeah I have been trying to stop thinking about it as much as possible. Since I have been very busy during the past couple of days (because of the Holidays) it has kepy my mind free of it until now. HELP PLEASE....I just hope nothing is wrong with me

15 days late well the month is damn near over but remember this you can always get a false negative. Wait until you you go to the doctor and see what they say but by all means chances are you are going to be a mommy! Congrats.

you can call the doctor and DEMAND a test. Or you can simply tell them that you are switching to a different doctor. you can decide what they do. The reason they dont test before two periods is because in the first trimester you are more likely to have a miscarriage and they dont want people saying that the test was wrong. Good luck

2 missed periods before they will test??? I had my pregnancy test at the doctor and was already 4 weeks pregnant. Not sure about being pregnant since you had 2 negative tests unless your very early in the pregnancy. Call your doctor and try to get in b4 the 2nd period or get a new doctor.

wait until two missed periods before they would give a blood test? Are you serious???? Change your doctor!!
My doctor gave me a test before I even had my first missed period!! And the answerer above is right, false negatives do happen! Either try and take another home preg. test or find a planned parenthood near you and get tested there!
