I have an iPod video and my nephew got a nano yesterday for X-Mas. I have a library already established on my PC. When he tried to connect his iPod and download music, my libary appeared and we couldn't figure out how to get music from my library onto his. Do you have any idea how we can do this? Thank you-

When you connect the other iPod look at the screen that comes up on the iTunes screen on your computer. Click in the tab that says music.

it will explain what to do

specific, despite the fact that this is sort of complicated because of the fact youtube performs mp3 movies and to place the video on your ipod you ought to alter the action picture from mp3 to a mp4. what sort of ipod do you have in any case?

just manage the songs manually. i think you just make separate playlists.
i don't really know how to do that but you can call your local apple store on how to. i don't know how to do this because my motto is 'one ipod per computer' its less complicated this way, atleast i think so

here's two ways i know how to do an ipod to ipod transfer: (copied from a previosly chosen best answer that i answered)
you can do two ipods on one computer but its tricky.

1. you can take the songs you want to put in the other ipod, and copy the songs' files to a new folder. (to get to these song files, go to your documents > my music > iTunes > iTunes music and this list the songs by artist. find the songs then copy them to the new folder)
via flash drive, transfer these song files from itunes library to another. put the songs you just put in the other computer into another folder and title it so you can easily find them. then go to itunes > file > add file to library. a window pops up. then you have to locate that folder with the songs > select about 2 or 3 songs > them click ok to add. itunes can only add 2 or 3 songs at a time. (this happend to me.) actually adding songs to the library also allows you to add the whole folder of the songs you just made. go to file > add folder to library > select folder > click ok to add. much easier right?
OR
2. with the songs that you want in the other ipod, burn them to a cd. if they're about 12-15 songs, they can fit into all one cd. if not, then you might need more blank cds. anyway, you selece the songs you want and put them in their own playlist in the itunes library. then insert the blank disc in. go to the playlist, and on the top right hand corner, it says 'burn disc." click that and it'll burn these songs to the disc.
then when that's done, insert the newly burnt disc (assuming you have another computer) into the nano's itunes library and import the cd to the library. click the import cd on the bottom right hand corner to do that.

i'd do the flash drive option. i've found that to be much easier and it saves you some black discs. but you do whatever you want.

can i share a story with you?
i have a laptop managing my ipod and my dad on his. one time i had a itunes $15 gift card and i couldn't wait to use but my laptop was under repairs at best buy. so I decided to redeem the card on my daddy's account. after i used up the whold card and downloaded all that i wanted, i transferred the songs from his library to mine via blank cds, or option 2 (above). only after i realized that can do option 1 and use a flash drive to save up on blank cds. when i tried to play them on my computer, a pop up window asked me to authorize these songs on my laptop, so what i did is typed my dad's password (cuz these songs are authorized on his computer) and now the songs are mine.
