I have been best friends with this guy for like a year & a half, the first time he asked me to call him from that first hello I was falling head over heels for him. We have talked about getting in a relationship, but letting fear get in the way I try not to let it become a topic of our conversation. But we have so much in common and it really feels like to me that I have finally found that 1 I was meant to be with, over the last year & half we both have been in relationships that fail, I also think that may have something to do with us, I don't know. But what I do know is we have the same personality, sense of humor, likes, dislikes, opinions, I mean seriously I could go on & on. I have had many dreams about him (not sexual) but it was like Christmas morning, I had woke up and he was watching the snow fall and I came up behind him and put my arms around him, I so wanted that to be happening this winter...but I guess not...atleast for this year. Should I just go for it? Or wait for him?

He might be waiting for you to make the first move too! You could try a more casual approach like coming up from the side and bumping into him, maybe it'll turn into something?

You should definitely go for it. Why let another year and a half or more go by to find out. Ask him how he feels and tell him how you feel. You will walk away a winner either way, you have nothing to loose and so much to gain. DO NOT have any expectations and your feelings will remain intact. IT will make you better friends for sure and the men who have done the best in relationships married their best friend. YOU

I take it that You and Your friend actually talk to each other about You mutual feelings? If You don't go for it You will never find Your answer, or is the idea of finding out what You are really affraid of coming to terms with?

First of all, does he swing your way? If so is the relationship worth risking your friendship?

BTW By reading what you wrote it seems you really like the guy.
But its best to keep him at the friendship level than risking losing a friend once you break up. I say its better to have a friend with privileges to to keep him for all for yourself.

Go for it, but take it slowly since you do not want to ruin the friendship
