Well about a year ago i got my navel pierced and during the year i lost a fair bit of weight off my stomach. And this resulted in the skin between the balls of the bar slowly getting smaller. Currently the skin is about 6 or 7mm long and when i put a bar in i dont like the look of seeing about 4 or 3mm of the bar. So my question is what is the standard size of the skin between the balls of the bar? and should i take it out and get it repieced or leave it and see if the skin becomes thicker as i gain more weight?

Loosing weight is one thing but i don't believe that would cause the holes to become closer together. Have you bumped the piercing or anything since you lost weight? Or maybe the skin has moved a bit making the length of the bar more noticeable

I took mine out and I regret it.
