A newborn can fly at any age as long as the parent is comfortable. Since you do have a newborn, you will be allowed on the plane first before people who do not have children.

any age really. Depends on your comfort level.
Babies tend to be fussy on flights because of pressure changes in flight. An adult can "equalize" their ears with a yawn where a baby will fuss and cry because of discomfort, but nothing that will be a health concern as the inner ear will equalize eventually. A bottle every few minutes during should relax the ear enough to equalize.
keep in mind that in the mean time there may be impatient people on the plane that may get annoyed at a crying baby. This can be stressful since there really isn't any place to go.

As far as I know, at any age. Friends of mine flew with their daughter from Australia to China when bub was only 2 weeks old.
Sometimes the pressure inside the cabin can be difficult to handle for the little ones, and cause ear pains. This is easily fixed by breastfeeding during take of and landing.
When i flew with my baby, she was about 6 months old, and the doctor recomended Phenergan to help her sleep through the flight. I am not sure if this is suitable for a new born, so check with your doctor or pharmicist.

I don't think there's a problem with new borns flying because they don't have wings to begin with! I'm kidding! Um, I don't think there is a set age where it's bad. I think they can fly, they just have to have a carseat, but also the passengers might get annoyed if they cry alot.

after about a couple weeks. Take the baby to the doctor first to check her ears to make sure it's safe for her to fly.

i took my daughter overseas (from NY to London) when she was 10 days old. I would have done it sooner but it took that long to get her passport. I breastfed my kids so I didn't need to carry on bottles.

Don't take the kid on a plane - you'll only piss other people off. Their ears are way sensitive and the ear popping effects you feel are a ton worse for them - the kid will be crying the moment you get on the plane until the moment you get off

as soon as the mom feels like it, but I would wait until 2-3 months.
