My high school is doing fiddler on the roof, and I just got cast as Golde. I'm not too familiar with the show, I only know that she's the mom. As it's my senior year, I was wondering if I got a good role?

Yes! You have a duet with Tevye that I LOVE called "Do You Love Me?" It's about how they had an arranged marriage, but they grew to love each other. SO CUTE! Good luck with the show.

It's going to be a great role. I was in Fiddler. Golde is kind of the sarcastic leading lady of the show. She's Tevye's wife and had something to say about everything! She's a very naggy women. It is a great role with great singing and acting and medium dancing.

I consider it to be a pretty good role. You won't be right up there with the dad and the daughters, but you still have a good role. I'd rather be the mom than the yenta or one of the boyfriends. She has a good song "sunrise, sunset"...I'm assuming you're doing the music...how could you do Fiddler and NOT do the music?!

Excellent role. Lots to sink your teeth into. Excellent songs too. One of my very favorite musicals.
