Niacin like the other answerer said is just a B vitamin.
However, it never has turned my urine yellow, it does however increase blood flow and will give you a good "Flush" in that it will make your skin turn red over most of your body and give you a feeling like your skin is hot. Also I find that it can give me the chills.
I had never heard of it being taken to eliminate drugs from your system, I have however heard that it can help weight lifters though.
Your best bet is to not do the drugs in the first place.

I'm a nurse. marijuana stays in your system for months. Now the good news, if you are getting a urine test then their are OTC cleaning drinks(that work) that you can buy at your local CD store or somewhere like that. This drink only gives you a clean urine, that's it. If you need a blood draw, there's no way. And the drink only last for five hours. Make sure you follow the instructions on the bottle. Six months total the marijuana stays in your system. Because it is slowly absorbed and stays in your subcutaneous tissue(fatty tissue). I have been a nurse a long time and I have heard it all. But the tests did come back negative for all of them, as they told me. Then latter did they confess the truth to me and the doctor. Try a music store of some type that sells adult things in it. I hope you can use this. Niacin don't work.

No, Niacin is just a form of Vitamin B. All it will do is give a yellowish color to your urine.

it didn't work for me. And just to let you know that now a lot of places test for the presence of masking agents such as niacin and golden seal.

Nope.
Drug tests aren't administered by third-grade dropouts. They are administered by folks who are determined to detect illegal drug use.
The only surefire way to pass a drug test is to not do drugs.
