If she has pierced ears, buy her a pair of birthstone earrings. Try Target or Wal-Mart, they both have very nice jewelry, not too expensive. Otherwise, girls that age like clothes, bath products, maybe a pretty purse. Buy her a book on a subject she's interested in, or if she's creative, maybe some art supplies. Or you can offer to take her out for a manicure - very grownup!

You know, she is really getting to the age where she would rather have a few dollars in her pocket than some inexpensive toy. (I am speaking from experience here, I actually have an 11 year old son who wanted money for Christmas just like his teenage brother and sister received from their aunt)
Here are a few gift ideas
1) a wallet or small purse with a couple of dollars slipped inside.
2) a inexpensive watch (usually less than $10 at Wal-Mart)
3) bubble baths and lip gloss
4) If she has long hair, an assortment of hair ties and pretty pins for her hair.
5) assortment (and supplies) for beading her own necklaces and bracelets.
You can also check out a christian book store because they not only have books and bibles there, they also have great gift ideas for kids.

Well, I happen to be a girl so I know what a ten year old girl would want, so if she is a Girly girl then maybe a Bratz doll or make-up, if she is not then maybe a video game or a bike, maybe even a scooter well that's what I would want, lol =)

i say just get her a gift card for what ever amount to ToysRus....... This way she could get any toy she wants in the same amout.. if not her parents can add on to that gift card and get her what ever she wants.

Movie pkg(movie popcorn and a pop) for say $15.00 -- for her and a girl friend. At that age they will love being all grown up. Of course a Mom would be in a movie next door. :)

Does she play any sports? If so a coach bag would be perfect! Ask her coach what kind of bag he or she wants to be in so u can get the right one in advance.
