1st time the water broke first..the 2nd time I just started having contractions. Of course I always looked for that sign..but I never remember any discharge or mucus. Nothing
Now Im due in about 2 weeks and again I always check (like in the toilet and in on the tissue) but nothing. Maybe I will have one come out this time?
Anyone else never notice loosing these 'plugs'?

I have two children and I never lost mine either. I was told by my doctor that some lose it in small amounts and never even notice it. Its not a big deal. It can be a sign of labor, but as you are probably aware there are tons of signs that not ereyone experiences. You may have one or more or not have any. You may have already lost it and just are not aware, or maybe you won't lose it until you deliver. Congrats and Enjoy!

Everyone loses their mucous plug, but it is not always noticeable. It can come out in large chunks or very gradually over a period of time. I have had 4 babies and only noticed the losing of my mucous plug during my first pregnancy.

I had 4 kids and also looked for it with every pregnancy. I only had it happen 1 time and that was with my 3rd child. However, it was too late by the time it came out. lol. I was at the hospital giving a urine sample and wiped and there it was...can you say YUCK! I had her 10 minutes later.

My mom said she never noticed. I've been loosing mine in pieces.
