Do you need a wireless router and wifi?

I cant get wifi to work, alone.

can i just use a router?

You'll Need A WiFi Connection, Via Wireless Router Or Hotspot, To Connect Online With Your PSP..

You Can Just Use A Router, But It'll Need To Be Connected Online, Of Course..

If You Don't Want To Purchase A Wireless Router Just Yet, Try Searching Around More For Wireless Connections, And Check Under The Security Column Next Time You Scan For Connections And See If It Says 'None'..
