No, they don't. A lot of times that stuff gets sent to their stores to be sold during their semi-annual sales. What doesn't get sold at either of the sales they have twice a year usually gets sent to a discount store where the tags are cut out so you don't know that it's Victoria's Secret.

I use to work at Victoria's Secret and I worked at a discount lingerie store.

oftentimes clearance products are discontinued products and that they sell them till they're out of inventory on the shop. If the distribution center has greater in-inventory they oftentimes deliver to the shops throughout their semi annual sales (Jan & Jul) till each and all the object is long previous.

I always get items that have been sold out...

it's called backorder..
