Tom Brady. He may not have the stats, but he has the rings and the winning influence and leadership. If I was an owner I rather win a Super Bowl than a MVP award(Manning).
Vince Young I believe is the Rookie of the Year, but not even in my top 5 in quarterbacks. McNair looks good 'cause he has a very good team around him. (Commenting on other opinions.)

Young has to prove himself yet and so does Romo. Brady gets all the credit for the Pats titles but lets face it Adam V is the man who won them. Farve and Garcia are has beens and who ever said Eli better quit smoking what it is they are smoking. Peyton sure has the states but if by best QB playing right now career wise you gotta go with Farve. If you want to know who the best playing this year is then just look west to San Diego. There is your boy out there. He took them from pretenders to contenders and will most likely ad a ring before this season is over. But I'm a Rams fan so for my money it's Bulger. Just a loyalty thing LOL

tough one. i would go with tom brady. hes effecient, confident, and has all it takes to get u a superbowl. and thats all that matters. no other QB can do that solely. i mean look at the pats offense who do they have besides brady? no one. he is the soul and life of the new england offense.
look at the colts. u say manning is the best? well hes got a great group of teamates and still struggles to win. Romo? hes got an excellent offensive line and recievers that do much of the work for him. Brees? he is the QB of the most explosive offense in the NFL. what do u expect but good stats? and so on and so forth.
really, in any way u look at it Tom Brady falls into #1.

as a football man, not thinking of my fav team or players....payton is the best in the game right now, vince young is what vick was supose to be, and will be the next randell cunningham able to run all over the field like a running back but yet throw the ball and get a good QB rating, not one good pass ever so offten or one good game a year wtih his arm, watch out next year i might be saying young is the best...but as of right now young is far from that.....

jeff garcia.... he may not be the best skilled but he is playing the best and has put his team in a spot for the division. The best quaterback in the NFL is still Peyton Manning but playing right now is Jeff Garcia

Normally, Tom Brady because of the Superbowl Rings but I have to go with Payton Manning because he will probably be in record books for Years.
