my brother died a year ago is he trying to contact me and if so how do I see what he wants?

Last summer of 2005 I started to notice several black cats in the road in the mornings and several owls flying over my house at night then toward the end of July one night I was visited by my family and told my brother was killed that evening his car hydroplaned lately ever since this summer and since he died I had several dreams about him and strange and mysterious things like dvds falling by themselves the dog barking at something invisible that makes the hair on my arm prick up and sometimes the room just goes completely cold and freezing and I feel a invisible hand touching my back and one night I awoken to the front door that was bolted opening by itself and I hear weird tapping noises like knocking on the wall and objects at night and my name being called by a familiar voice and one occasion where his cell phone number showed on my caller id is it possible my brother is trying to reach me from out of the grave? or whatever spirit it is how do I see what they want?

but the cell phone number could have easily been his wife calling my homw that time because she might have had it with her the day he died they both shared the cell phone

I see no one has paid attention to this thread in a long time and i dont know if my blog will even be read but yesterday Dec 1, 2014 marked the one year anniversary of my husband passing away..I relieved the whole nightmare that took place in my home the day after Thanksgiving. But i lost so much time in my mind for 8 months because his death almost put me over the edge. We were together 34 years married 33 years. Have 4 children with him they have taken this better then i thought, they are definitely very strong..I don't want this blog to focus on me, i want you all to know that i had a real true MAN. No one gave him nothing he worked hard all of his life and that is something to be proud of the only fault he had really was not taking care of himself always thinking of others but would of should of that's all i said for the first few months literally..I still say it but know deep down inside that he will never be coming back..I needed him still not God. Sure im upset and it hurts pretty bad that he was taken away from myself and my children way too soon we still had so much to do in life together but now that will never happen..I am surrounded by everything that he has done here..He was a tradesman but a jack of all trades master of them all what a man i had..Now i have to take care of everything now, its my turn to pick up where he left off..But in certain way i cannot do what he did but i need to care for my youngest boy 15 years old..He is my priority..And it sucks that he only knew his dad really well from the time he was 3 years old..They don't get it at 1, or 2 years of age..So 12 years out of the 15 he knew his dad..I am staying strong but i will tell you that i will cry when im alone, get angry and that is my right!!. But i have to also say that he doesn't have to stress no longer about working, making ends meet, money, bills all of it..My heart has been crushed into millions of little pieces and putting them back together well that is up to me how long that will take...

I agree with the people who say that some essence of your brother is around you... and that this is an okay thing. He may not be trying to tell you anything in particular, but just wants to let you know that on some level, he still exists and hasn't forgotten you. Along with the recommendation of Alison DuBois's books, you might check out Sylvia Brown and John Edward--all of them give advice on how to connect with your passed loved ones on your own, so that you don't have to go get fleeced by a medium charging a high individual consulting fee. As far as warnings go, I've also heard iffy stuff about Ouija boards--why take the chance? If there's something really important to be said, your brother will find a way to say it. I'm sorry for your loss.

Maybe your brother is hanging around because he feels that you are having a hard time accepting that he is 'gone'. Some ghosts hang around because of the attachment they feel others have towards them. When you die, you 'feel' things differently, and it could be that he is picking up on the feeling of you being lost without him.

If that is the case, then let him know that it's ok for him to go on with his life. It's also ok if he goes away (to Heaven, if that is what you believe) and comes back every now and then to pay a visit. And if your brother is simply feeling very protective towards you, tell him that you are very grateful for the protection, but that he can just as easily protect you from Heaven as he can on Earth.

Then again, maybe he is hanging around on Earth for a very specific reason and its only after the reason is over that he will be able to leave. The more you communicate how you feel towards your brother, the more likely you will understand what it is he wants and how it relates to you.

Sounds like a demon haunting or something assossiated with your brother has attracted demons. Especially with black cats and owls all meaning something evil. Demons can manipulate cell phones. Try these scriptures, only if your religious, if they don't work move, and hopefully the demons won't follow you. Luke 11:21-22, psalms 91:10, isaiah 54:17, Luke 10:19, 2 cor. 5:20, I would seek out a religious pastor, father, or priest to seek guidence if the spirits follow you.

i am totally against the other people who answered you telling to calm down n see a psychiatrist I'm almost appalled. there is no answer to y ghosts exist. but he's definitely there with u. feeling his touch means he doesn't want to hurt u n he cant help but make the room cold when he walks in. i do think that he is protecting u though. the hole thing bout him calling out ur name. or maybe he's in trouble. u see when u move in with a ghost or an unfamiliar ghost moves in with u its diff then a ghost u know moving in with u instead because it makes u think y me. I'd start by talking to him. when u feel him say hey how r u. my dad had what u had but we didn't know the ghosts at all one day my dad felt them at the door when he was playing the PlayStation and my dad said come in check my new game out n the eerie feeling stopped. we could still feel them but it wasn't scary anymore. make him feel OK about being in your home because if he thinks your getting scared then he might leave coz he feels bad. make him feel comfortable. don't do the Luigi board plzzzz..... ask him if any thing is wrong n try to feel the expression on his face coz u prob wont be able to see it

Wow. That is scary. I think you should try to calm down a bit. According to a book a read, it is possible for him to be around. Even though you may not see him. He is probably here to whatch over you. Don't be scared, but thank him. Im sure that he is just watching over you. But if he is trying to contact you, maybe you should just try to listen. Whenever something scary happens like that again, listen. Listen to each sound. Here what he has to say to you. And pray that he'll get his message through.

Wow. You are definitely being contacted! I know it sounds weird but speaking out loud to your brother is a good idea. My father did similar things to me - flickering lights, hearing his voice, etc. Reading Alison Du Bois' books (aka Medium) has been very beneficial for me in understanding why they contact us. Her book title sums it up: We are their Heaven.

oh that is creepy but not to be rude or anything why dont you try going to a psychiatrist and see if there isnt a clinical psycholoigcal behind this...not to invalidate your claims or beliefs but just for you to be sure yourself about what is happening.
