Generally, Wireless Routers Are Pricey And Are Made For Use Of Multiple WiFi Items, Like Laptops, And Require A Good Cable Connection For It..

If You Just Want To Connect One Thing And Already Have An Internet Connection Linked Directy To Your Computer, Not To Mention For A Cheaper Price, Go For Something Like WiFi Max..

As For Not Being Able To 'Get Wifi To Connect To Your PSP', The Connections You May Have Tried Could Be Secured, Have Bad Signal Strenght, Or Maybe Just Not Usable For The PSP..

Again, You Can Use A Wireless Router To Connect The PSP To The Internet, That's What I Use, But The Thing Is That They're A Bit More Expensive And If You 'Secure' The Connection, You'll Also Need A WEP Key And Any Additional Keys You Set To Connect (don't worry, this is a one time thing, once you set that, you can connect easily without putting the code every time)..

But The Downside For Things Like WiFi Max Is That You'll Need To Keep The Computer On In Order To Play Online..
However, It Is Really Easy To Set Up..
