The problem is that my boyfriend and I have already just had a baby SIX MONTHS AGO! I've been on birth control pills since August, but I've missed taking them eleven times already. My period has been really irregular, and my regular period is only five days, and my last period which went off on Christmas Eve, was ten days long. It was like it came on in the morning, and it went off at night. My boyfriend felt my stomach, and it feels hard and my skin feels smooth, and my navel is starting to stick out. He wants to wait it out to see if my stomach is going to get any bigger, but I want to get a urine and blood pregnancy test, to be sure, and to have peace of mind, for myself, if not for the both of us. He told me to keep taking my bith control, but I'm afraid that if I keep on taking the birth control pills, THAT IF I AM PREGNANT, that I may kill my baby, and I don't want to do that. But I think that my boyfriend is considering abortion or adoption. What should I do, I need help.

Well I would quit taking the pills until you know for sure.If you are and you really don't think you can raise another child right now put it up for adoption.If you want the child but your Bf doesn't then have hI'm sign over his rights(if you want to keep him/her)I know im not is your situation but don't have an abortion.They're many loving families out there that want children but can't have any.My family is trying to adopt again(they adopted me from newborn), and they are willing to let the birth mother and father be apart of the child's life if they want.Some adoptive families do.

For peace of mind take a pregnancy test. You can even get them at the dollar store and they work. Birth control pills will not kill your baby if you are. My sister took birth control for about 2 months of her pregnancy and her little girl came out fine.

The first thing you need to do is find out if you're pregnant.
Go to the dollar store, plunk down a George Washington (plus sales tax), and go home and take a pregnancy test. (Actually to be sure, wait till morning to take it, and use your first urine.)
(Knowing you can test for $1.00 instead of $10.00 makes it easier sometimes.)
And in the future... sounds like you're not that great a candidate for pills. (Even if you're not pregnant, you've obviously had to deal with breakthrough bleeding from missed pills.) Have you considered the patch?
Or programming your cell phone to remind you?

Okay...first off, taking pills while pregnant will NOT harm a baby. If anyone is interested in the biology of how the pills work and why they will NOT harm the baby, please email me...or check my other answers to questions like this...but, contrary to what everyone else appears to be saying...taking the pill, biologically, in itself, will not abort or defect a fetus...
And the fact that your belly button is starting to stick out really doesn't mean anything...unless you are already months pregnant...

get tested...since you forgot to take them, you could be pregnant. don't take any more until you know for sure that you are not pregnant.
