Actually 2 question in 1 . . .?

1.) How long does a person have to be gone before they can be officially classified as "Missing?"

2.) How long does a person have to be "Missing" before they can be "Presumed dead?"

1) I think after 48 hours they have to classify as missing.

2) I don't know if there is a timeframe for that. Sorry that I couldn't help.
