19:00 is "military" time using a 24-hour clock. If the number is 0:00 - 11:59 the time is a.m. if the number is 12:00 - 23:59 the time is p.m.

To get the time we are used to using, subtract 12 from any number higher than 12. Therefore, 19:00 is 7:00 p.m.

If the time is given in a different time zone, you must add or subtract hours to find the right time for Eastern.

For example: 19:00 CST (Central) would by 8:00pm in the Eastern time zone (add one hour).

19:00 GMT (Greenwich mean time) would be 2:00pm Eastern time (subtract 5 hours).

7:00 pm. To calculate Military time, if the time you want is greater than 12 noon, add 12. Example - it's 1:00 pm. add 12 that's 1300. If it's 2:00 pm, add 12 and it's 1400. If it's 8:00 am you do nothing since 8:00 am is less than 12 noon. It's just 0800.

To convert back subtract 12. Example - it's 1900, subtract 12 and you get 7. If it's 1400

When you see 'military time' - just subtract 12. 19:00 = 7:00, 23:00 = 11:00

Wow, I'm appalled by this question. If u don't know, give a guess. (Hint: 7pm.) U should know by now that this time applies to anywhere in the world, not just the Eastern Time Zone.
