The same side effects if they aren't expired. Just keep in mind that after the expiration date the medicine is less effective.

It may not be as effective if the exp date is greater than 6 months ago.

depends on how old-
its just not as effective 60+ days old
anythng older may not be effective at all- yet if it helps-good luck!

sometimes it can cause a "germ" to become stronger, since the RX is not killing it, just feeding it.

the military gives thier personnel expired meds on a regular basis. eventually the meds will lose thier effectiveness...but dont worry if the meds are just slightly outdated. no biggie.

The medication will not be effective to kill the 'germ' that it is supposed to be exterminating !

In other words, you might as well take some M& M's to cure what you are trying to cure.....

there is no side effect. i used them after expiration date. i had checked with my local pharmacy and they said it would be ok but might not be as strong
