They're probably plugged into a ground-fault breaker. They're very easy to trip off.....rain will usually do it.

First, plug in something that you KNOW will work, just to check that the receptacle is working. If not..........

Find the breaker that is tripped, OR POSSIBLY it is actually a receptacle that is tripped. It will be on the porch or in the garage, or somewhere like that. It has 2 little buttons on the center of the receptacle. When you find it, press the one that is sticking out the fartherest. That should do it.

1st is the inside switch on or did it get turned off somehow. most outside plugs have an inside switch.
2nd plug your blowdryer or something into the plug, does it work ? No check your fuses. Yes ? than it is inside your lights.
Try one string of lights at a timeif you have a bunch. Only one may have a short or blown

At the end of each string near the male plug there is a little box that contains two fuses. Pop the cover off them ans see if one blew. If so, there should be a little plastic bagg attached with extra bulbs and fuses. Replace the blown one and you'll be good to go.

A blown bulb would only kill half of one string, so since you say the entire string is out, check fuses first.

see above innovations. wait 40 8 hours to work out in the event that they dry and that helps. additionally word that oftentimes, between 2 easy bulbs, there is the cord phase that connects them, and then a 2nd long cord. those are a budget types the place if anybody easy burns out, all of them die. (don't get those!!!) there is likewise the styles of lights the place you will see greater wires than that; those are good through fact if only one bulb burns out, something nonetheless paintings.
