im about 5'3 and 170. I got a booty, some hip, and alittle stomach, but skinny legs =/ I bought some old short old navy "skinny jeans", but they were too big, even after going 2 sizes smaller. What store can I buy good skinny jeans for myself. Please no cheapo stores like walmart, k-mart, target, or even khols (i already own enough junk from khols)

These have worked for me--I have some booty, some hip and a smaller waist, so I was looking to avoid the "butt gap" where the pants are tight on my legs and booty and then too big in the waist.

Gap--try the "modern cut" and then your size number + A. (A=shortest cut.)

Also Express, but I don't know if they're a stupidly skinny store. I haven't bought pants there in about 5 years, but they had a cut and size that worked for me back then.

Lerner, NY. I think the "B" cut was the best on booty.

If you can afford 'em, Lucky Brand jeans are possibly the BEST for curvy girls. I personally only have the one pair I lucked out on finding in my size at a thrift store. But I LOVE THEM.

And at Academy, you might see if they carry the brand Austin jeans. They're cheap as in they don't cost much, but they aren't cheap-looking or cheap-wearing.

Also, Levi's 527 for guys. I like guys' pants 'cause then once I find the right cut (527 works best on curvy girls), the sizes go inch by inch for waist AND inseam.

And if you find a pair that works on your waist/booty/hips, then just buy them and take them to the tailor shop in the mall where you shop and have them hemmed up. It's worth it.

Alot of stores have short, tall petite so you can very well go out and find something for someone who is short and curvy. It really shoudn't be that hard. Maybe, Target, Sears, Marshalls just a few off the top of my head. Unless you want to buy name brands or a more expensive pair of jeans, then you would have to look for the correct size or a designer that might specialize in short and curvy.

I'm about 5'0 and 120lbs and I find all my jeans either at American Eagle or the Buckle. I like American Eagle because they have short sizes which is great when your short. And at the Buckle I buy Silver brand jeans. They come in sizes like length 30 and waist 27. I know how hard it is to find jeans that fit us short people - so good luck!
