Yes you can!! and in Brisbane Australia If you ring The city council they will give you a plumber who for the price of $20 will supply & install a showerhead that will do just that & also fix 3 leaks in your taps ( i think ) may be just 2
so that's quite worth it & a good deal

depends on the shower head I suppose...like if you let the water trickle, probably yes. When I was growing up we used to wash out of the sink, when my parents were growing up they washed out of a basin...now THAT'S saving water.
