Fear of dying comes from fear of not living your life to its fullest.
If you really live your life every day than you're not afraid of dying cause you're too busy living.
If you're worrying about dying it's because there are things you still want to do in your life before you die.
Figure out what those things are and make yourself checkpoints to reach those goals.

You have people in your life who want to be there for you, so allow them to. It helps if you let them know that you want advice or a shoulder to cry on. we are all dying from the day we are born , it depends on what you believe in ( maybe God) what's important is to "LIVE" each day as if it was your last , not worrying about where and when it will happen , perhaps Tai-Chi or yoga or maybe your local church , but the main thing is to get a hold of your inter-being , you can't keep caring it around with you , if you don't do something now ! it will keep the battle going in your mind , The best place to answer your burning questions when it comes to inter peace, just might be your dreams. Meditation, yoga and tai chi help your subconscious channel the answer to your "waking mind".

Stop thinking about it? Or accept the fact that death isn't something that you can control and therefore is not something you should worry or stress about. This is wasted energy as it is going to do nothing to improve or change your situation come the final day. Instead focus on make life wonderful so that you can at least know that in the last moments you will have fond memories... life after you die is not something you can do much about either, except perhaps by the good actions you do while alive, and so this too is not something you should worry about beyond trying to make the world better through our lives. Whatever is in store for us beyond death is only in our control in that should there be some "heaven" we can be confident in our passage there should we live good lives filled with respect, love, knowledge, virtue, and empathy. If there is no afterlife, then we all experience the same eternal peace regardless of the lives we've led. And as for the not so rosy afterlife, well, if there is a god, he's forgiving, and so any mistakes we make can be forgiven so long as we do feel badly for them and learn from them. So long as we learn not to make the same mistakes, we can all go to heaven. I believe this because this is the way life seems to be. You can make phenominal mistakes, but if you learn, and grow, things can always get better. So if god made this world, then god made the rules of this world, and it only seems fair that if you play by the rules, you get to go to heaven. And god wants you to enjoy life, so don't worry about death.

Man has always feared the unknown. Its not really something you can avoid since the roots go back very far.
It's hard to come to a concrete conclusion on how to solve your problem. I guess the best thing to do is to realize that you are going to pass. Its a hard thing to face but hey you have to. Don't fear it since it's a natural thing. Think about what have right now (your family, friends, even pets...all sources of love). Why worry yourself with the inevitable? Just along with the ride...live your life as much as you can. Time is short!

The world religions are based on what happens after death and say a lot about it. Most say good people go to a good place and bad people go to a bad place. Christianity says not good people, but forgiven people go to a good place and give the details in the New Testament. It's a concern you will are sensible to consider and a deep study of it can lead to a deep understanding of life, afterlife, and your self, in many ways. It can also help you do the right thing when strongly tempted not to, which will cause you to avoid much un-necessary trouble in life. Wisdom begins with the serious study of this thing that frightens you.

What took my fear of death away was when i became a christian. I know no longer fear death but look forward to because I know that after a die here I will live forever in heaven with God. Who sent his only son to earth to live a blameless life be crucified and die then rise again from the dead so that all who believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
If you want to invite the Lord into your life. Believe that Jesus died and rose again say this prayer. It may not be the way you would say but all that matters is that it comes from the heart.
Dear Lord Jesus I know I have sinned and displeased you, and I ask that you would forgive me of all of my sin, and that you would come into my life and help me to become the person you want me to be. I thank you now for coming into my life and forgiving me of all my sins. amen

Just be ready to go and know where you are going when your number is up. You can't be afraid of death, because everyone faces it one day. You need to explore all the different explanations of death and the ever-after, pick one that makes sense to you and go with it. I believe in God and Heaven and hell, because that is what makes sense to me, and I am doing all that I can to make it to heaven. I have been around a lot of people who died in my presence, and it doesn't appear to be a terrible experience. I only hope I die like I have lived - facing it with courage, holding my head high and stepping into it, and laughing a little on the way.

Do what I do - Realize that there is not much you can do about it and live life to its fullest. Because, you will die...we all do. I am scared too, but more of the "dying" part then the "death" part if that makes sense.
I am a true believer in whatever exists after we die is better than life on Earth, so in some respects I am looking forward to what comes next :)

Either become a stanch religious follower or a stanch Atheist. I recommend the latter. I have absolutely no fear of death. I have a natural fear of suffering prior to death. After death there is no feeling or awareness of any kind, so there is nothing to fear. xx

I'm looking forward to it myself. Start reading about the Eastern ways and how they look at life after death. Anyone who has ever astral projected can tell you that death is nothing to fear. You simply step out of your body and continue on in the next life. You will still feel like yourself, still be able to think and so on.............and don't let anyone tell you people can't project. I did it and know lots of people who can!
