its most likely the battery, but ut could be the alternator not charging it, take it to a parts store to have it tested not an auto shop, they would charge for it. parts stores do it free in the hopes youll buy the new battery from them.

You will need to change the battery. You can check yourself to make sure the alternator and charging system is good. Start the car and let it run with all accessories on (high beams, radio, fan on high, etc.) If the car keeps running it is just your battery. If the lights dim and the car dies it is your alternator. The fact that you only have the problem when it is cold leads to the battery. It takes more power to start in the cold. If it starts fine in warm weather then the alternator is probably OK. Dont ever take your car to Cooks and Cars. If he was really a mechanic he would no that you cant jump start a battery with a dead cell.

Ya stang is right sounds like the battery has a dead cell in it. DO be sure to take it somewhere that will check the charging system. Most places will for no charge. It would be sad to pay 80 - 100 bucks for a battery when it is the charging system causing the problem. I do them for free, Takes 10-15 minutes to load test the battery.

Yes, replace the battery and get your charging system tested to make sure the alternator is still good. Hope this helps.

Make sure your battury is full. Or just take it in to a auto parts store and have them check it. It wont coast you anything to have it checked and they will putt a full charge on it.
