You can get pregnant on any type of birth control. The only thing that is 100% safe would be abstinence. However, what you should do is go to your doctor. Nipple leakage and vaginal discharge is not normal.
The patch won't protect you from any std's either. Get yourself checked out. ASAP!

It is possible to get pregnant while on the patch. My little sister is proof (a newborn to a 48 yr old man and 37 yr old woman isn't normally planned). I know my stepmom had been on the patch at the time of contracetionand a little bit afterward not knowing she was pregnant. ALso it might just be a side effect of the patch itself.

this is the link for Ortho-Evra website I would recommend getting detailed info on side effects there. Also schedule an appoint with a doctor, you may jst have some type of an infection.

Yes.. a teeny tiny chance.
What are the chances of getting pregnant while using the patch?
Typical use: 1%
Perfect use: 1%
:) Let's just hope you aren't number 100! I would really go get checked out by your physcian. I know a friend who got pregnant on depo.. and did not know it until she was 6 months along. The baby has birth defects because of it. If you are pregnant, you need to stop using the patch asap. Hugs!

It is possible to get pregnant while on ANY birth control, except for abstinence (virgin Mary is the only believed exception). Although the discharge almost sound as if you may have an infection. Go see a doctor ASAP.

No form of birth control is guaranteed 100% effective. However, your symptoms aren't common signs of early pregnancy. The safest thing would be to go to the doctor. Because you can get a pregnancy test there, and even if it's negative, you should get your symptoms checked out anyway.
