i have aroung 1300$ tword a lap top and i was wondering what whould be the best kind for me. i would like to spend lestt then 800 but willing to go to 1000. i would watch movies, play some war games, but mostly use the internet and write papers for school, and store some music. i have a printer so thats ok but the internet is for my sebsite fitsurveys.com. thanks and again i need help choosing the right model from any brand

Hi Yung Joc! I noticed that you want to watch movies & play games. May I first suggest screen size, get the one's with at least 15" TFT monitor size. Don't get anything less. Next get something with graphics memory of at least 256MB or higher. You will enjoy your 3d games & movies with that. The memory should be at least 512MB. Your drive should be 80GB because of your school works and I want to suggest Windows OS because it is a defacto standard. Superdrive is best (DVD Writer) because you can back-up higher capacity DVD media disks. As for the processor get an Intel Core duo. Wireless is a must. All of this I suggest you get the following brands, Dell, Toshiba, Sony Vaio. Good luck hope I help a little.
