It depends on what code you put in and subsequent images (a large picture in your comments for example, can radically alter the layout)
Page size starts out about 800 to 1024 pixels across...

it depends on the size of the browsers that people view your page on. You could make the width of your page a certain number, but how it looks will change based on what browser viewers use and how big their screen is.
But in general, myspace pages are usually 900 to 1000 pixels wide. Any wider and most people would have to constantly scroll over to read the right side of the page.

Stay within 768 px and you should be fine
