honey its not just you.
millions of us have bladder issues.
I have worn a light pad since junior high.
It is most times a genetic thing and as you age it does get worse.
Try some Keigel exercises to increase the muscle control.
I would talk to your doctor or Ob/Gyn at your next visit.
Best wishes.
Just empty more often and caffeine will stimulate the bladder, so cut it out.

A weak bladder is a generalized term for urinary incontinence
You can have stress incontinence which you described, uncontrolled urination with a sneeze, cough or squatting.
Overflow incontinence, when bladder gets too full you can't
control it In any case it's due to a weak destruser muscle of
the bladder. In some of the elderly prolapse or falling down
of the bladder can cause this problem and must be corrected
with surgery. My advice is to start Kegel's strengthening exercises, which are squeezing those muscle and relaxing
them 10 times , 10 x a day total of l00. This should help with
a weak muscle. I would see your local Urologist for testing and
to rule out any bladder tumors that may be displacing the volume
of your bladder.

There is nothing wrong with you. That sounds like stress incontinence and thousands and thousands of women have it, along with quite a few men. There are exercises you can do for it. Sometimes they really help unless it is a nerve damage problem. The exercises are called Keagel (sp?). It is a matter of concentrating on flexing, holding, and releasing the muscles in crotch area. Sorry, couldn't thing of the right word for that area. Another thing you can do to strengthen that area is to try to control your urine stream while you are peeing. Shut it off and then let it go again, and do that over and over. There are other benefits to strengthening your pelvic floor, each depending on where you are in life.

try pelvic excersices. you can do these anywhere, whilst your walking or working. pretend you are about to pee and you try to hold it! well, that holding postion, keep it and hold it for a few second and then let go. dont breath in or hold your breath. this will streaghthen up your bladder system and may prevent you from peeing whilst laughing etc. it happened to me after I had a baby.
probably not what your eating.

around the age of 50 the urinary walls in a female become weak. it is from carrying babies and giving birth. also, the "plumbing" in us is far shorter in a woman than in a man.
