John has been told that he is in a friends will who died and the probate is done. The lawyer in charge contacted John and told him he will be getting something but the lawyer wanted to set up a meeting with John to tell him what it is. The lawyer has not contacted John again in over 6 weeks and John does not have the lawyers name or number. How does John find out what has been left to him?

Either lawyer is trying to scheme john or you can look at state's department of revenue website and look for sections on unclaimed funds/money. Sometimes when people have unclaimed money your state holds it until the person comes to claim it.
