I would say you can rely on that HPT. If you can't get into your doctor for so long, see if he/she has an associate that you can see. Most doctors are comfortable with that, and would encourage it, and the advantage to that is your doctor would be able to see your chart, and see everything that was done without having to request the info from another doctor. AND..any good doctor would encourage you to see ANY doctor with the symptoms you are describing. If you are pregnant, seeing a doctor early is essential for your health and that of your baby. Also, the longer you wait, the less options you have if you are indeed pregnant and don't want to keep the baby.

Well I can only help you by offering some hand me down baby clothes...honey, those HPT are generally 98% accurate...and by the way, it's the same thing the doc's office will use on you! I am not a doctor, and no I don't play one on TV, but I am a mother of 3 kids and I think it's safe to say...you're pregnant!

positive HPT's are reliable--the pregnancy hormone pretty much has to be there to make the test positive. Sometimes HPT's can give a false negative reading if there is not enough of the pregnancy "marker" in the urine, but if it reads positive--you can trust it! Congrats! 2007 is going to be an exciting year for you!

Yes, if it's been 6+ weeks since your last period, it is likely a valid result; most of the tests claim to be valid before you even miss a period. And your other symptoms are common with pregnancy, so it really is probable.

OTC pregnancy tests are pretty accurate. Unless you for some reason are one of those people that test a false positive because you have extra hormones. If you are you more than likely already know it. Sounds like you are just plain ol pregnant. Congrats and good luck.

Sounds like you are pregnant. See a doctor soon to have a repeat test done. In the mean time, eat good food and take some vitamins to stay healthy.

HPT are 99% accurate if used correctly. Take another one to be sure, but I'd say you're pregnant. Congratulations!

you are pregnant. the hpt is right. especially when you used it first thing in the morning and also the symptoms you just said, also confirms it. also you may observed that your areola(the skin surrounding your nipples) grew in diameter and even get darker than before.

I'm a nurse. Those test are accurate. I would take it easy and listen to your body. Try not to over work yourself, get plenty of rest that your body is asking for, you will be OK. Take care.
