Me and my gf are split (I am female too) ....she is bipolar and hasnt received help yet but yet says she needs help and wants it. She comes and visits me at least once a week and we talk to each other on the phone almost every night when she goes to bed. She says she is confused about this other girl all the time but then said she only liked her as a friend but today she told me that girl is immature (as she has told me in the past) and said she told that girl to leave her alone cuz she was stressing my girl out. Then later my girl texted me and said no she isn't upset with me (cuz I asked if her if she was) and then followed by saying .... "I just feel dazed. I need time to collect my thoughts. I don't know who I am." What does that mean when someone says they need time to collect their thoughts? Cuz now she wont text message me back.....but still is calling other people. Help! Only sincere answers please.

She's probably confused, and needs to reexamine her life or something in it that doesn't seem right. That doesn't mean it's you. If she's bipolar, maybe she's having issues with that. You can't look inside her head so you'll just have to wait. don't worry! It won't change anything.

Basically she is saying she needs some space to think things over or she has been seeing somebody else and now is even more confused than before. Good luck!

I am also bisexual. Finally some one else in the world like me, but about your ex-gf. I am sorry to hear about her. I would jsut leave her alone for awihile. She means she wants to think about her life. And what she wants to do next. She will text back dont worry about her.

I think bi-polar people have violent (meaning quick, not striking someone) mood swings. I think many bi-polar people have been abused. I wouldn't associate with her. Sometimes people with severe emotional problems just bring other people down with them, I'm sorry to say

Your friend needs serious help and/or medication. Unfortunately, you can't be her keeper. She needs to fugure things out for herself. :-(
