I want to get back into the physical shape I had 18 months ago. I was doing cardio as well as weight training. I looked and felt great.

Short-term stuff:

--Get myself on medication that *works* for once. WHY is it that in the 21st century that getting proper treatment for a mood disorder involves so much trial and error on the meds?? GAH!

--Start volunteering again, most likely either for one of the local food pantries in town or for my community-based internet service again. Got to get out more and do more for folks, it's good for me.

Longer term:

--Get *back* to losing some weight....I was feeling better six months ago when I was some 40 pounds lighter....I could go back to that again, maybe do it one better and finally get myself closer to 220 again.

--Get myself working for a living again, even if it is only part time at a dead end job...gotta do what I've gotta do.

--Once I have the money to spare again, a) hit the gym to get in better shape, and b) possibly learn some martial arts skills. Not that I *need* to fight right now, more like, I could use something to help me move around more easily and gracefully.

--And once I can afford to try again (and see if my mood budges any), try dating again, maybe, see if I can find any lady loves who are *even just slightly* less messed up than I am. Is that so wrong? *lol* ;))

Ok, I had best stop now....it's bad enough I *am* going to have to wait until a month or two into the New Year just to get *started on* the short term stuff (because the local "mental health" system is run by a bunch of control-freak Jerks, that's why).

Hope this helps, and have a Happy and Wonderful New Year! :)

Well, I'm getting married in April, so I'd like to accomplish that. I want to learn a couple of new computer programs for work. I want to be there for my friends and family. I'm especially excited about becoming an aunt (my fiance has two nieces and a nephew), so I want to form a good relationship with my soon-to-be nieces and nephew.
