I want to be a Dj at a party with my laptop and itunes, I was wondering if I can make Itunes play the songs continually, with no ending, song after song, with out the seconds of silence in between, any help would be apreciated.

There's a preference setting on iTunes which allows crossfading between tracks, but obviously it's not going to be as smooth or as fancy as a real DJ lining up the beats and transitioning between songs. But if this is just going to be background music for a mix-and-mingle party (as opposed to a full-on rave), it probably won't be an issue. A friend of mine has toted her Mac to parties and used it as a "DJ" in that fashion.

1. Click on iTunes – Preferences (for the Windows version, click on iTunes – Edit – Preferences

2. Click on Audio

3. Click to check the Crossfade Playback box

4. To decrease or increase the amount of time it takes for the current song to fade out at the end and the new song to fade in, drag the seconds slider left or right. If you set the slider to 0 seconds, songs play without fading between songs.
