hey there, how you doing??
listen,, its OK to go to the GP on your own if you want to. Just because you are a young person that does not mean that the GP can do anything that YOU don't want them to.
If they want to weigh you and you don't want them to you can politely tell them NO. You might just want to tell them that you are aware of the importance of lowering your body weight and are doing so in a healthy fashion..
Feel free to value yourself as a unique individual, not one who can be weighed to order, when you value yourself in this way, you will be only too willing to be weighed for health reasons because you're valuable and deserve protection.
Your parents and GP already see you in this way I'm sure but just have a funny way of not showing it enough , like all adults.
Remember, in the end its you in charge.

None of the GPs I've seen in the past have weighed me. They have a lot of appointments to get through, so they don't really have time for it. I've got a feeling it'll be the nurse that sorts your ear out for you anyway, they seem to do more of the practical things.
I really don't think they'll have time to make a fuss about your weight, so if they do weigh you or comment, they'd probably suggest that you made an appointment another time to talk about it.

Stop worrying, your GP will already know about your weight problem. They cannot help you unless you ate totally honest with them.
I should think that they will do your ear without going into the doctor.
Put olive oil in your ear for a few days before you go to the surgery to soften up the wax.

If you're in the UK, ear syringing is something done by one of the practice nurses as a rule. You need to have the wax softened, either see them first, get the product and then go back.

yes, usually when you go in, you get weighed. If your worried, tell the Doctor your working on losing weight. He might give you some diet tips and a list of foods you should be eating. I don't think he will really say too much to you.

I don't know about your GP, but mine does weigh me every time I go. But they don't badger me about being a little over weight.
If you are, and they mention it, just tell them you are trying to lose weight and ask them for some pointers on losing. Then they will know you are serious and they probably won't bug you so much. And trust me, no matter how much you weigh, they have seen bigger so don't worry about it!
