Would you be willing to donate the illegal labor cost-savings to your local construction/builders trades unions?
Just curious about all the illegal alien outrage these days. As oppose to those days. When you got yours on the cheap.

What's your evidence for the claim that 80 percent of American houses were built by illegal aliens?
It's not the house's fault if the people who built it were here illegally. It's not yours either.
Why are you curious about all the illegal outrage "these days" as opposed to "those days"?
"Those days" did not involve anything like 9/11, or the threat of further terrorism on our shores.
"These days" do involve those things, though. There's a difference.

Could you please let us know where the figure that 80% of the homes built in the last 20 years comes from?
By my math, less than 5% of the population is illegal; that's 12 million illegals (commonly accepted as high estimate of illegal population) out of 300 million Americans. My math could be off but you can see this is still not a big chunk of the country.
So I'd like to hear about how 5% of the population can build 80% of the homes.

My house was built in 1930 by the owner who lived here until 1991.

I think it is highly possible that some of the people that built my house were illegal aliens. I didn't ask them and the house is well built.

My house was all union built, so if they let illegals in to the union it is their fault. I did all I could to prevent that from happening. Plus, in watching it being built, I only saw black and white workmen, so am probably safe there.

i totally would. i mean those illegal immigrants are totally going to know that i tore down my house that they built just because they built it...

My house was far from cheap and it was built 29 years ago...but I tore it down to protest anyways!!!

I never thought about that. Fortunately for me my house was built in 1912...but there were still illegals back then
