Sometimes, Amazon.com has legal downloads for free from time to time.
Downloading from any P2P software would be illegal if the song is still under copyright.

I wouldn't recommend using any P2P software as you can get into large trouble with it. Basically there is none, as it is illegal, unless the owners of that song give it away, or the copyright has passed.

if you visit www.download.com and type in the search box mp3 rocket and download it. It will let you download audio as well a video. It works really well.
