I already know how to play guitar. I just want to know wich way of learning you think is better. and wich one is more effective

1)figuring it out all yourself and geting a simple chord book

or

2)getting lessons

Many people do well without lessons or any music theory, but you must have a greatly developed ear to do this. Others need lessons to teach them things that don't come natural. Many musicians have enough built in instinct to do it themselves though. You have to decide which one you are.

I learned on my own but wish I took lessons. It took lots of time.

i figured out everything on my own, its better. you get your own style and rhythm that way.

i think lessons becuz they really are easier.
