I think you can with the next gens but i'm not sure about old gen games.

No plasma screens do not suffer burn in. Old CRT screens did but LCD and plasma do not.

You can lose pixels on LCD and Plasma but that is due to that pixel burning out not related to usage rather a bad portion of the screen.

The Wii has something that it calls "burn-in prevention," but I'm not sure how well it works. I don't know about the other consoles. But I think the moral of the story is that Plasma is not the best choice for a gaming screen.

Yes, you can, just don't leave it up there for extended periods of time unplayed, or probably not incredibly long amounts of time being played.
