I've pretty much asked before, but nobody ever really helps very much. So I'm like preppyish, and based on that, what would be some things I should buy within the next weeks because of all the sales going on?

What I think every female should buy:
A few tunic-length tank tops. Not only are they great for sweltering summer days, layering is very popular right now. I suggest the AE Boyfriend Tank.
A few long-sleeve shirts. I suggest waffle-knit/thermal tees or ribbed henleys.
A woven button-down shirt. Most people will have to dress up at some time during the year, and this shirt fits the bill.
A hoodie. You're going to want one next fall.
A winter coat. I suggest a pea coat...they're a very cute, classic style.
A pair of black dress pants. Like the button-down, these will come in handy if you have to dress up sometime during the year.
A few pairs of bootcut or flare-leg jeans. They flatter almost everyone and are my personal favorite jean style.
Gloves/mittens. For cold winter days.
A pair of sneakers. If you're pretty active, invest in two, three, or more pairs.
A pair of dress shoes, whether they are heels or flats.
A pair of sandals/flip flops. Great for going to the pool or beach.

A good blazer in wool. A nice classic cut in a neutral colour that you enjoy. You can go with navy, beige, grey or black. You could also go with a classic cut pair of wool or silk mix trousers a blouse that can go from office to evening with a strand of pearls and perhaps a black dress that can be dressed up or down. Stay away from extreme styles like those horrible little half sweaters and anything camouflage. These fashions will be on the clearance rack before your nausea subsides. Have fun shopping.

Buy winter stuff...like sweaters, scarves, maybe a nice new coat, etc. If you're going to get a sweater from abercrombie, I suggest that you swear a shirt under it since the material is really thin and you're probably gonna be FREEZING. Maybe some fur-trimmed boots would be nice too.
