i want to purchase a Wii and i can make a deal with someone who is living in the UK (i live in the US). i know that when i traveled there, i had to use an adapter in order to use my electronics because the plugs are different there than they are here. will that be the case with the Wii as well? or will it work fine here?

Do NOT get it. It's not an issue of the AC adaptor...it's *video* that you have to be concerned about. A UK/European Wii will output what's called a PAL signal, while we here in the US use a different video standard called NTSC. There are no practical adapters that will help you in this regard...a UK Wii is pretty much unusable in a typical American setup; it'll look like gibberish on your screen.

Moreover, the Wii is region-locked. If you have a UK Wii, you'll have to buy games from the UK...US games will not work on it.

in line with the place you're going,it may help in case you tone it down somewhat. the enormous cities have gay golf equipment or maybe church homes geared in the direction of LGBT yet in some smaller cities and cities, that they had quickly kill you than look at you. right here the FEW loopy Christians are louder than the saner ones so i could say do no longer attempt to get into an argument with them esp. around satisfaction season(June-August ish) ultimately, do no longer hit on anybody till you're honestly beneficial they're LGBT AND criminal(18 right here as adversarial to sixteen over there). this is the terrific i can furnish you. sturdy success and function relaxing.

go ahead and get it. if it is different, nintendo.com will let u buy the us version of the ac adapter. as for the guy below me, you can change your region. it' is NOT region locked, you can choose which country you live in on the third option on the wii system settings. from Angola to zimbabwe. I am an actual wii owner.
