I know that this is probably going to sound a little silly but heres my question. I know that you can only get pregnant on the days that you are ovulating, but is it possible to become pregnant if you had sex a few days before or after you were supposed to ovulate?

yes there is a high possibility. FOr one not ever one ovolates on the 14th day. Everyone flex between 10 and 20 days into the cycle to ovolate. Then once you have ovolates it take about 24 to 48 hours to be done.
The sperm know can live for up tp 48 hours. So that means that your egg can catch the sperm right at the beginning of ovolation or at the beginning.The wise tale is if it catches the beginning then you are having a girl if it is at the end its a boy.

If you had sex within the past 5 days before you ovulate you can get pregnant, sperm can live up to 5 days.After you ovulate I believe you have a 24 hour window of the egg being able to be fertilized,after that, you can't get pregnant unless by some freak occurance you ovulate twice in the same month, which is also possible in some cases.

Sperm can live in your system for about 4-5 days. Sometimes less, sometimes more.
The count would be pretty much nil if anything was left that long, but theres always that chance!

Ya b/c the sperm can stay alive for up to 2 days and when the female eggs come out they fertilized or after the eggs will still be there.

when you ovulate, your window is a few days, I think you could get pregnant a few days after
